Stylist Sherry Akbar adds a certain degree of elegance to all her endeavors. She has started showing a capsule collection of paintings that are dreamy!

I asked Sherry about what inspires her and she stated the following:

“When I paint my first inspiration comes from color and the infinite combinations possible. I then get inspired by shapes and textures. My goal is to make the viewer feel great, at peace, excited ….optimistic.”

Her background as magazine editor, stylist and now painter shows her multi-dimensional talents. I am fortunate that I have a painting of hers in my home and it does truly bring me peace. The lady is talented- plain & simple.
