When I travel for business I love to discover new places to eat. It makes business travel a little more human and tolerable when you can locate and enjoy locally run chef driven restaurants.
I was in Phoenix for a conference when I stumbled on the Barrio Café. Located in a hip part of the city filled with interesting murals. It was refreshing to have such fantastic local food. The table-side guacamole, fish tacos, flan and signature chicken stuffed poplano pepper are amazing. The venue is filled with local edgy art that can be purchased. If you are looking for a off the beaten track place with amazing food then please give it a try!
