I adore El Charro in downtown Tucson because it is a little jewel! Whether you sit inside or outside in the courtyard next to the mosaic fountain you cant go wrong. The Mexican food is fresh and made from scratch. The chips & salsa are amazingly delicious accompanied by a side of fresh guacamole. Fish tacos are my favorites but the menu is varied and the libations tantalizing. On a warm day there is nothing better than having dinner in the courtyard with a fresh margarita in hand.

Downtown Tucson has seen a revitalization and refurbishment in the last few years so it is a fun area with local restaurants, breweries, coffee houses and clubs.
