On my last trip to Miami I wanted to try different dining venues as at times I can be a creature of habit. While visiting Miami I always crave lightly prepared foods and what could be better than trying Mediterranean. I was introduced to Byblos by a client that resides in South Florida.
BYBLOS is located in South Beach right on Collins Avenue in a historic Art Deco building. The décor is light, colorful and inviting. General Manger Seko Sener made us feel very welcome and the entire team was extremely gracious. The restaurant consists of two floors with a lounge downstairs and the dining room on the 2nd floor. There is also outdoor dining,
In my opinion part of being a great restaurant is the service, ambiance and of course the food. The menu at BYBLOS is varied and touches many parts of the Mediterranean. The menu consists of small plates, large plates, salads, wood fired bread, seafood, rice and sides. All served family style. We were so full that we had to room for dessert but will return on my next visit.
We ordered the fig salad, Mejadra rice, roasted Brussel sprouts, seared cauliflower, eggplant Kibbeh and the grilled whole Branzino. Every item was fresh, tasteful and different in flavor. BYBLOS has done a great job of providing different tastes of the Mediterranean and the Middle East.
BYBLOS is a great Mediterranean fusion dining venue with a very cool, comfortable, chic vibe and a very nice addition to the Miami restaurant rooster.
