Spending my birthday in Rome with my family was a dream come true! Being able to slow down, relax, enjoy the sights and take the time to relish being together.
We had a great time exploring the city and eating wonderful food. The freshness, the quality and the taste left me speechless.
Each night we picked a different area to dine so we could experience the different neighborhoods and cuisine.
The Trastevere section of Rome is a hip area full of innovative restaurants, bars and small shops. It draws a younger crowd and on the weekend the streets are bustling until late in the night.
We picked Enoteca Ferrara to dine in as known for his vast wine selection and its contemporary Italian cuisine. We had the pastas, baked chicken, fish and various appetizers to start.
The food is delicious and the wine list is more like an encyclopedia! Pages and pages of choices.
Being in the Trastevere section, it is a hip dining venue that attracts a crowd of all ages
that want great food and fine wines.
The front of the restaurant is a wine bar and the restaurant had its own entrance.
The dessert was fantastic and all the items we had were so fresh and well made. Dining in Rome is truly a feast for the senses.
Enoteca Ferrara proved that each neighborhood of Rome had its own special charm and great food.
