I adore Mexico City for the culture, art, amazing food and warm hospitality. There are so many wonderful restaurants and diverse types of cuisine to try while in Mexico City. Each dining venue I have visited has been fantastic.
One of my favorites for innovative and fine dining is PUJOL a small dining venue with exceptional food and service. The six course tasting menu changes seasonally and is fresh and luscious.
The menu is Mexican inspired but with a global flair. We visited this beautifully designed restaurant in the Polanco area of Mexico City and were swayed by the artistry of the presentation.
Each course is beautifully plated and the tastes are all different but work well together. Pujol has been voted the best restaurant in Mexico City and one of the best in the world.
From the time you arrive, you are treated as a guest rather than a restaurant patron. The service is exceptional, and one feels comfortable as it’s not stuffy but modern and chic. The design and décor are very sparse and Zen with a tranquil feel.
Chef Enrique Olivera who was trained at the culinary Institute takes his passion for food and turns it into a real work of art for one to enjoy!
