I am a big fan of San Remo Italy because it is so charming and situated on the picturesque Italian Riviera. Filled with warm people and beautiful architecture San Remo offers stunning weather in the spring and summer and is festive during the holiday season.
The quant town has so much to offer from a fun city center to the port with multiple cafes, restaurants and stores to pick from.
One of my favorites for an afternoon coffee or tea with a delicious pastry is San Romolo Pastry and Cafe. It is situated on a side street leading to a pedestrian walking zone that is filled with stores.
San Romolo has a classic interior and offers a delicious assortment of handcrafted pastries from chocolate, fruit tarts to almond pastries. Each delicacy is better than the other. with a craftsmanship and attention to detail that makes each pastry unique.
The cappuccino or macchiato are fresh and I don’t usually drink caffeinated coffee but these are so smooth that it doesn’t bother my stomach.
The family owned business has exceptional service and a real desire to assist each guest.
When I visit my family in this region a visit to San Romolo is a must!
