I have been enthralled with flamenco for many years because of the passion, music, and dance that it involves. The Tablao De La Villa in Madrid is a perfect venue to see traditional flamenco up close and personal.

It is in a 19th century building in the historic part of Madrid. The venue is very charming and artistic. We had a table right by the stage so we could savor every dance move, guitar note and song.

The artists were amazing, so full of passion for their art. I was moved by the intensity of the artists that brought tears to my eyes, and I was transfixed.

There was a wonderful musician that played the guitar, two remarkable singers and two captivating dancers one male and the other female. They worked together to bring all aspects of the show together. It was an intense experience and sitting so close I could see every expression on their faces.

They have a full menu, and you are encouraged to come early to have dinner as in our case so when the show starts there are no interruptions. The flamenco performance was riveting!
