Fashion for me is not about just dressing but expressing myself. My Mother was a designer who studied Haute Couture in Paris in the late fifties. She told me that fashion and style were not about the money one spent but the vision of the individual and how they executed it.

I mix vintage, designer, and budget friendly bands to create my unique look which depends on my mood and the image I want to project that day. Whether it be corporate for a business meeting, boho for a girl’s night out or high style for an event.

An Italian brand I recently came across on my travels is Des_Phemmes designed by Salvatore Rizzo.

Des_Phemmes is an eclectic mix of glamour, classic, eclectic, and feminine pieces. I adore their embellished pencil skirts with a sweater or turtleneck. The skirts are adorned with sequins or feathers going down the front, they are different and combined with a classic top it is original. The mix of youthful and classic appeal to me and easy to wear for multiple occasions. The V neck fitted mid-length dresses with floral embroidery are classic but with an edge. Easy to wear but different in style and design with an added element.  adore the use of colors that give me a glow.

The price points are not too expensive and when I can find them on sale I stock up on key pieces. Fashion is about having fun and Des_Phemmes lets me express my inner eclectic & classic self at the same time.
