With the onslaught of the pandemic my international business travel and meetings have halted. I am beginning to have more meetings across my local area. Exploring and learning about great dining venues in my own area is exciting.
For so long I was away from my home base and to be able to make new local experiences is fun. For a recent late lunch meeting I was fortunate to meet a client at the Best Thai Kitchen in Middleburg Virginia. This small casual Thai restaurant that is off the main road is fantastic. With a lovely flower laden outdoor seating area where one can dine it has great energy. The best part of the Best Thai Kitchen is the food. Home cooking with recipes handed down through the family.
Every item I have had was delicious and the sauces are made from scratch. My favorites are the vegetable summer rolls with the fresh peanut sauce or the spicy papaya salad for appetizers. For my entrée I am obsessed with the sautéed ground chicken with eggplants or the pad Thai with shrimp. I have had pad Thai allover the globe but tis pad Thai is so delicate with the fine noodles and homemade sauce. Its fresh and welcoming.
This family-owned business has great service and thy are so motivated to make sure each guest enjoys each meal. I love supporting local business especially ones with great tasting food.
