On my travels I came across the BH Burger Bar at the St Regis Bal Harbour.  A chic & retro decorated burger bar with red leather round banquettes overlooking the grounds.

A novel approach to the burger craze. You can choose from your choice of beef, chicken or vegetable and customize to your hearts desire with different types of buns or lettuce as your bun, various cheeses, bacon and condiments.

I had a chicken burger wrapped in lettuce with hand cut fries. I loved the smoked ketchup which gave conventional ketchup a kick.

Even in the land of beachside exercise and staying fit, it is nice to be able to splurge on a burger and fries.  Comfort food certainly has its place when you are on vacation!
