What I adore about Rome is the outdoor cafes, culture and people watching. The eternal city is beautiful in so many aspects and affords me the luxury to be able to relax and reflect. The beauty of the city and style is outstanding. Rome has an old world charm and elegance that is the true essence of “ La Dolce Vita” or the sweet life.
One of my favorite Piazza’s or squares in Rome is the Piazza Di S Lorenzo In Lucina. This beautiful piazza is close to the Spanish Steps and surrounded by stunning retail therapy and architecture.
One of my favorite cafes is Vitti right in the middle of the Piazza overlooking the Basillica. With indoor and outdoor dining it so so nice to sit outside on the Piazza, sip a cappuccino, have the delicious pasta for lunch or a dessert with a glass of prosecco in the afternoon and people watch.
The outdoor sitting area with umbrellas and heat lamps to shelter one from the sun or wind is right in the middle of the square so I love to look at the architecture of the square and Basillica and just sip my drink or savor my meal.
The service is fantastic and I don’t feel rushed at Café Vitti so I can enjoy my time in Rome and take in the full senses of the city!
