I am very fortunate that I get to travel to some great destinations for business and stay in some wonderful properties. Lately, I have tried to really appreciate my surroundings and not let events pass me by.
On a recent business trip to London I had the good fortune to stay at the Four Seasons Trinity Square which is a marvelous property with fantastic service.
Designed by architect Sir Edwin Cooper the building dates to 1922 and was originally the Port of London’s Authority Headquarters. It took seven years of restoration to bring the hotel to its current splendor.
This 100-room hotel feels more like entering a private residence than a hotel. Since the hotel is small, the service levels are very personal and professional. Located walking distance to the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the stock exchange it is in a great location for business or touring.
Close to the Thames River, it is a beautiful walk to the Tate Modern, Burroughs Market or to the Tower of London.
With state-of-the-art rooms it was truly hard to leave to attend to my business events. My room was stunning with large marble double sink bathrooms, a luxurious shower and bath, luscious gold tiles around the tub and a closet large enough to store all my clothes. The colors are somber, soothing and sexy making one feel like just indulging in the room with a bit of relaxation. Some of the walls are covered in houndstooth fabric. I loved the fact that there was a tea kettle with an assortment of gourmet teas and an espresso machine in my room. It is these attention to detail that separate the Four Seasons Trinity.
The Four Seasons Trinity has a luxurious spa, a stunning indoor pool, a complete fitness facility and a chic hair salon. I had no time to use any of the facilities but look forward to returning for a vacation when I can. The hotel is like a perfect jewel.
There are multiple dining options that are very good from the circular and art deco Rotunda in the lobby to the Michelin starred La Dame De Pic to the Asian Mei Ume. Of course, there is 24-hour room service. The service at all the venues is flawless
Even though, I was at the Four Seasons Trinity for business and I couldn’t use all the facilities, my experience was stellar. Not only is the art deco architecture amazing but the level of service is so high that it is truly hard to leave. I look forward to returning for leisure when I can take advantage of the spa, pool and fitness!
