HogFish Harry’s is a wonderful restaurant in downtown Naples inside a retro resort. This standalone restaurant has great coastal vibes, a soothing ambiance and serves wonderful fresh seafood.
I would have never found HogFish Harry’s without the advice of Naples resident Bob Carson. Bob is a foodie like me, and he advised me that their cuisine is outstanding and worth the trip.
Chef Everett Fromm believes in Ocean to table cuisine! I found a selection of local fish such as grouper, red snapper and hogfish. The hogfish is prepared with a ginger reduction and served with a coconut lemongrass jasmine rice. The grouper has a Meyer lemon beurre blanc sauce and served with melted leeks. There is an array of starters from the coconut gulf shrimp to the shaved kale & brussel salad.
There is a wide selection of libations to sooth any palate. The desserts are amazing, we tried the key lime pie, the grand carrot cake which is enough for four and the decadent rich chocolate torte. Hogfish Harry’s has such a great atmosphere and the outdoor seating overlooks a pool one my side and a fabricated river on the other. It is just a fun time with exceptionally fresh food.
