La Habichula an institution in downtown Cancun has been serving clients like myself for the past 45 years! This beautiful restaurant with a magical garden is perfect for any occasion.

The tropical foliage, the white wrought iron furniture and Mayan art throughout the garden make it a perfect place for a beautiful dinner. The garden & foliage lit with white lights at night just makes it a mesmerizing and romantic venue.

La Habichula which means bean in Spanish is family and local restaurant with fantastic service, a warm ambiance and fresh homemade food. The seafood and the traditional Mexican dishes are my favorites. The seafood prepared with local catch of the day is sublime. I love flans and theirs is one of the best I have had.

The service is so friendly, and each dish explained in detail. I adore supporting local restaurants and getting to know the local culture and area when I travel. La Habichula is like walking into a dream. Perfection in every regard!
