It is important to me to support local businesses in my area so that my community does not become overrun with national chains. Helping local entrepreneurs allow my area to thrive. It brings diversity and a fantastic variety of food.

Layli a Mediterranean restaurant with a wonderful outdoor eating area and lounge that opened near my home. The ambiance is friendly, casual, and fun with great music streaming inside and out. The garden decorated with plants feels like I am going to a friend’s backyard instead of a restaurant.

The menu is simple but the dishes I tasted were delicious. It consists of mezza’s cold and warm with a selection of shareable main dishes .The mezza’s I tried consisted of the labneh, hummus, baba ghanoush, spinach pies, sautéed potatoes with herbs, fries with zatar, tabouleh and fattoush. Each was prepared beautifully prepared with love!

For our protein we ordered a side of the chicken shish taouk and the whole branzino. The chicken shish taouk was juicy and flavorful. The whole boneless branzino was tender and served with sautéed potatoes and grilled artichokes. Both were a great edition our array of appetizers.

We dinned outdoor with friends on a night that was remarkably cool for an August. We savored the amazing weather, the ambiance, and the well-prepared food. It was magical!
