Tomorrow is March 20th, the first day of Spring and I can still feel the chill in the air. I am thinking about the summer and even though I must work most of the summer I still can dream of a summer flat to wear while traveling for business.

In the summer my feet expand when traveling on a plane so I need a flat that I can just slip on and off. At the same time my flat must look professional and polished! I can’t look like I’m going to the beach.

There is a resurgence of logo inspired footwear and clothes this season. It seems we have gone back to the 80’s and 90’s when logos were in fashion and boldly displayed.

My favorite logo footwear for this summer season is the Valentino logo slide sandal that comes in clear, black or tan.

I love the vintage inspired logo with the bold “V” in a brass finish. It is retro and modern at the same time. The flats are very comfortable and perfect to pair with a slim trouser, jeans or a skirt. The placement of the “V” is well positioned so it blends in well and looks bold.

I am usually not a logo lover but these Valentino flats just speak to me!
