Margaritas on the Hills is a super casual restaurant owned by Hector and Patricia situated on a hill overlooking the Bay of Banderas. I felt like I was dining in a tree house that serves great food!
Hector and Patricia greet guests and take care of all aspects of the restaurant themselves except for the cooking. The ambience is super friendly, and the food is simple but fabulous. The margaritas are tall and tasty.
Hector catches the Tuna himself, sea to table fresh, and one of the best tunas I have tried globally. The tuna can be served as sashimi or as a tuna steak just seared with seasoning. How often do you get fish that was caught that day?
Then there is the coconut shrimp that is juicy and extremely tasteful, and the local lobster grilled with spices that melts in your mouth. Of course, the guacamole is fantastic as was all the items my party tried on our recent visit.
I adore supporting local business because it is so important to me that these businesses thrive and grow. They don’t have the money of the large chains to advertise so word of mouth is paramount to their success!
