I love to explore and discover new dining venues when I am traveling overseas. I had the pleasure of eating at the Masala Library in New Delhi on my most recent trip to India.
Jiggs Karla a leader in Indian cuisine and author of 11 books on the subject is behind this dinning venue making it very special. Masala Library takes Indian cuisine but presents it in an innovative and delicate manner full of amazing flavors and tastes.
The presentation and preparation is stunning allowing for the full tastes to come whether trying the tandoori dishes, stews, breads or desserts. One is taken on an exotic but modern journey.
We tasted various items on the menu plus there is a tasting menu if one wants to delve further into the different facets of Indian cuisine.
Siddharth Malhotra and his team went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of even though we walked in without a reservation. Besides the food, the design of the Masala Library is chic, elegant, modern and striking.
I adore traveling because it connects me to so many different places, people and experiences!
