When I visit my family in Monte-Carlo for vacation I enjoy taking long walks along the water every morning with no end in mind other than relaxation. I often end my walk with either breakfast or a café at the Monte Carlo Beach Hotel.
The Monte Carlo Beach hotel is at the end of the Avenue Princess Grace and situated at the edge of the water. Built in the 30’s, the entrance to this charming luxury boutique hotel is filled with lush foliage and features a cobbled walkway. Once you enter the premises you are greeted by the glorious Mediterranean.
Recently renovated and redecorated by interior designer India Mahdavi, she has made it modern but kept the original charm & history of the property. The terrace restaurant and bar with its stark white wooden furniture and navy edged cushions & umbrellas gives the property a chic nautical feel. The food at the restaurant is fantastic as is the service. Her designs don’t over power the property but enhance it and allow us to savor the history that this hotel has had.
The Monte Carlo Beach Hotel is truly a place for those that want to get away, with a balance of peaceful serene waters, privacy and access to the bustle of Monte-Carlo.
This property has afforded me so many hours of reconnection with nature, reflection and relaxation. I always count the days until I can return! It is truly a treasure with its private location, design, service levels and stunning water views.
