I came into contact with the fashion items Pierre Hardy designs on a random trip to Paris. I was tired of all the same bags and shoes that I saw all over the globe and wanted an individual item that would stand out.

Pierre Hardy started his own label in Paris in 1999 previously working for Hermes, Balenciaga and Givenchy designing accessories. He currently has two stores in Paris one at the Palais Royal and the other at the Palais Bourbon. With a store in the West Village in NYC that opened recently.

His designs are unique because he incorporates various materials and architectural shapes. The items are designed with wearer in mind and not just some marketing campaign. His tenure at the other venerable fashion houses has allowed him to have a set vision of what his clientele wants to purchase and he designs for their needs.
