I adore platform shoes because the height of the platform compensates for the heel height. I have severe back pain and platforms save me because I just can’t wear stilettos any more. At times even though I am tall I want & need some height. I will leave the stilettos to the ladies in their 20’s that haven’t yet wrecked their backs!

In my mind and soul Mr. Ford cannot do any wrong. A super talented designer & innovator that starts trends and leads others to follow rather than being the follower. The fact that he shows his collections each season in different city shows his novel approach to design and fashion. Always in the forefront of what is modern, hip & sexy but elegant at the same time.

I love the different platform versions he has created whether they be with leather & gold studs, in calf hair, with strappy ankle straps or just a classic black leather version with a thicker ankle strap.

Mr. Ford constantly amazes me with his talent! In this cookie cutter world of mass production he truly a fashion GURU.
