I adore the designs of Rick Owens. His fashion shows might seem editorial and not wearable as his shows are like theater but when you look closely at his designs they have an architectural flair that is gorgeous on the body. .

Recently looking for evening wear for an event I investigated his creations to find stunning draped gowns, gowns with movement and godets and architectural columns that are simple but sensual that show pockets of skin.

The aesthetic continues with his ready to wear with leather jackets that hug the skin and skirts that have a romantic draping. The cuts are perfect so even a heavily draped dress does not seem overwhelming on the body.
