Recently I visited The Dabney, a locally owned and Michelin stared restaurant in Washington DC located in a quaint alley.
The creative restaurant with a large open air kitchen and a wood burning oven produced mouth watering selections. The ambiance is casual but it is obvious the team at the Dabney is serious about their cooking and preparation.
With a choice of two family style meals and an assortment of small plates that keeps one excited about each item that is presented. We had the chicken and dumplings for our family style selection and an assortment of vegetable and fish small plates. Each item was mouthwatering in flavor and tastes.
We finished dinner with a butterscotch pie and delectable apple crumble. Each desert left us breathless and wanting more!
The Dabney with its creative interpretation of ingredients is a dining venue not to be missed for any food enthusiast.
