While traveling I am always on the lookout for local dining venues that are not touristy. I want to experience the local culture and cuisine.  

Recently while in Bal Harbour I was thrilled to find out that the Grill at Bal Harbour had opened at the Tony Bal Harbour shops.

Serving classic American cuisine done right in an open air concept dining room with floor to cieling glass windows overlooking the palm trees. The food is fantastic, not fancy but consistent. I love the Seared Ahi tuna salad, the mouth watering burgers with thin fries, the fresh fish or sandwiches. I have never had a bad meal, simple fare but well prepared.

It sounds easy to make classic American cuisine but to consistently get it right is not easy and the Grill at Bal Harbour gets it. Owned by Hillstone, a brand that understands that if you provide your guests with good food and service they will come back as I do.

In such a high end area of Florida flanked by Miami and inside such a glamorous mall it is great to find a restaurant where you can get great food in a casual chic atmosphere prepared with love and attention for the guest!

Wish there were mores placed like this where you can get consistent great food and great service!
