I am fortunate that when I travel for business I am exposed to wonderful new hotels, restaurants, museums and an array of cultural activities.
I try to make the most of my business travel by exploring new venues in each city that I visit. Recently I was in Los Angeles for business and I was fortunate to try the new Jean George Rooftop lounge and restaurant at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills.
Situated outdoors on the roof it has the most beautiful view of Los Angeles from the ocean to Hollywood and beyond. With the weather being mild it was a bit chilly to sit outside but the air was fresh and soothing.
There is a lounge with dining options, libations and a restaurant. I tried both and each was amazing fresh California inspired food with a Asian twist. In the lounge area there is a nice assortment of appetizers and small plates to wet one’s palate.
If one is looking for a more detailed menu then the restaurant has a large selection of choices. The view from the restaurant is stellar.
There is something special about dining al fresco in Los Angeles especially at night when it is so welcoming and embracing.
