I am in total adoration of the art deco building where the Wolseley is housed. The grand building with the ornate brass work and elegant facade leads one to a large main dining room with vaulted ceilings, large brass chandeliers and an amazing art deco interior.
The architecture and interior are captivating, but the food is just as amazing. The Wolseley is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.
I was fortunate to have a business dinner at the Wolseley and try a few of the items on the menu. The food is varied and gives one a choice to try a few items at a time.
I started out with the most delicious endive salad with candied walnuts and blue cheese. Then I had the veal milanese for dinner with a side of the most captivating French fries. My dinner companions had fish, burgers and seafood. All was wonderfully prepared and fresh.
The bistro-restaurant feels relaxed but the venue itself is so glam and stunning. I can’t wait to return to savor the afternoon tea or lunch as I have found a favorite in London!
